Continuity247 and Patching & Scripting Technical Training Offered at Continuum’s Second Annual User Conference – September 27-29, 2015 – Las Vegas

BOSTON – Sept. 22, 2015 – Continuum University, the self-paced, interactive online learning center at Continuum®, the industry's only channel-exclusive provider of fully integrated managed IT services solutions, is hosting two technical training sessions at Navigate 2015, the company’s second annual user conference, taking place on Sunday, September 27 – Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at The Cosmopolitan™ of Las Vegas. Zeshan Raja, Assistant Director, Technical Account Management at Continuum, is the instructor for Continuum U’s Continuity247™ Technical Training. David Boulos, Assistant Director, Technical Account Management is the instructor for the Patching & Scripting: Deep Dive Technical Training Session.

The Patching & Scripting Deep Dive session focuses on patching and scripting features offered with Continuum’s Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform. Attendees learn how patching works with a walkthrough of the process and best practices for ensuring resources stay up to date. Examples of how to set policies, create manual deployment jobs and blacklist patches that may be harmful are included. The session also explores scripting and how to automate the setup of new resources, troubleshoot script failures and maximize the impact of scripting jobs.

In the Continuity247 session, attendees learn how to choose a Continuity247 package to meet storage and retention needs, place an order and set up the appliance. There is also a walkthrough of the process of adding a server and starting backups. Attendees explore different disaster recovery scenarios ranging from local file or folder restores to the work flow for a full site disaster recovery.

Visit the Continuum University booth in the Partner Pavilion at Navigate where Jen Roadman, Partner Education Manager and Jason Pugh, Instructional Designer at Continuum, are discussing upcoming changes including the expansion of the program to include four certifications in the specialized product areas – RMM, Continuity247, Help Desk and Administration. The Continuum Certified IT Expert will be earned by mastering all areas. They are also providing demonstrations on how partners can use Continuum U to train technicians.

Continuum U has certified over 1,000 IT technicians, all having completed the required courses and passing the certification exam showing efficiency in Continuum’s managed IT services.
