Demand generation isn’t only about attracting net new business – it’s also about getting the most out of your existing customers. Enabling the successful adoption and continued growth of products and services is an area that too many marketing teams overlook, instead focusing almost exclusively on generating demand from new prospects. This session takes a unique look at how different types of content can lead to the accelerated growth of your company’s most accessible audience – your own customers.

Ben Austin is discussing how educating your users drives increased demand, the benefits of creating a remarkable onboarding process, understanding when to begin the cross-sell process, generating content that actually helps your customers, partners and re-sellers as well as the value of leveraging user-generated content from your community.

Ben is a journalist turned data-driven marketer who is responsible for the go-to-market strategy for Continuum’s backup and disaster recovery (BDR) products as well as researching market opportunities. He continuously works with product management and sales to generate messaging that resonates with its existing partner base. He was previously Content Manager at SmartBear Software where he managed more than 50 internal and external content contributors while overseeing the extraordinary growth of the company’s numerous websites – including taking its blog from 30,000 monthly visitors to 150,000 in six months.
