Shannon Mayer Joins Mobility Council and Nathan Teplow Joins Future Leaders; Both Participating at CompTIA’s Annual Member Meeting – March 24-26, 2015 – Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida 

BOSTON – March 23, 2015Shannon Mayer, Senior Marketing Programs Manager at Continuum®, the industry's only channel-exclusive provider of fully integrated managed IT services solutions, has been elected to CompTIA’s Mobility Community Executive Council and Nathan Teplow, Marketing Programs Manager at Continuum, has been elected to CompTIA’s Future Leaders Community Executive Council. They are participating in community meetings during CompTIA’s Annual Member Meeting on Tuesday, March 24 – Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. CompTIA is the IT industry’s trade association.

The Future Leaders Community is focused on building best practices for embracing a multi-generational workplace, while also providing a platform for millennials to network and advance their careers in the IT channel. During this meeting, members are formalizing this new community’s 2015 objectives including how CompTIA is helping millennials enter the IT industry. 

In July 2014, Nathan Teplow was recognized as a ChannelChanger by CompTIA. In December 2014, he was named to the “50 Most Influential People in Sales Lead Management 2014” list by the members of the Sales Lead Management Association (SLMA). He works closely with the Continuum sales team to build campaigns that drive product demand, as well as manages email operations and other content activities. He is the Host and Producer of Continuum’s weekly radio program, MSPradio, reaching its “on-the-go” Managed Services Provider (MSP) partners and prospects to deliver hot topics, business tips and industry news.

On the Mobility Community Executive Council, industry leaders are collaborating to help solution providers understand the financial models underlying the mobility space and best practices for implementing mobility into their businesses. Shannon Mayer is joined by panelists, Tim S. Bradford, Business Development - Mobility LifeCycle, Hobi International; Bruce Enright, CEO & Owner, Tallgrass Technologies LLC; Dawn Farrell, Channel Marketing Manager, FiberLink, an IBM Company; and Brittani Von Roden, CMO at VAR Dynamics. They are discussing latest trends in mobility, plans and initiatives for 2015 as well as showcasing solution providers who have recently entered the mobility space.

Shannon Mayer is well known in the IT channel industry, joining Continuum in January 2015 from LogMeIn as Channel Engagement Manager, evangelizing MSP customers and building a world-class channel program and community. She was also the Director of Marketing & Channel Relations at Datto. Shannon was named a 2013 Channel Chief by CRN, named to the 2014 MSPmentor 250; CRN’s Top 100 People You Don’t Know, But Should; and CRN’s Women of the Channel.

Keith Fotta, Director, Telecommunications Industry at Continuum, is on the CompTIA’s Telecom Advisory Council, providing strategic, near-term insight on channel issues and telecom industry trends. At the Annual Member Meeting, he is participating in meetings for both the Telecom Advisory Council and Joint Advisory Council.
