Community Service Activity is Priority for Continuum’s NOC Employees in Mumbai, India
BOSTON and MUMBAI, India – Feb. 16, 2015 – The employees of the Network Operations Center (NOC) at Continuum®, the industry's only channel-exclusive provider of fully integrated managed IT services solutions, recently donated more than $16,000 to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF), to render relief to families of those killed in natural calamities like floods, cyclones and earthquakes. PMNRF also helps the victims of major accidents and riots as well as helps to defray expenses for medical treatments like heart surgeries, kidney transplantation and cancer treatment.
Based in Mumbai, India, Continuum’s NOC supports at least one community service activity each quarter. In February, NOC team members volunteered for the Old Age Home Charity Drive, delivering gifts, singing and playing games at the Old Age Home. They also donated more 2,000 kg of grains, cereals, personal care items, toiletries, biscuits, fruits and clothes. The group has also taken part in blood donations and charity for orphanages.
“I am proud to see our NOC employees take part in various community service programs, demonstrating the importance that Continuum puts on giving back to the local community and beyond,” said Ashok Bhandari, Country Manager & Whole Time Director at Continuum.
