BOSTON – Nov. 11, 2015Continuum Veterans Foundation, helping returning troops find jobs in the IT industry, has donated $50,000 to Atlanta, Georgia-based Hire Heroes USA, an organization dedicated to creating job opportunities for U.S. military veterans and their spouses through employment training and corporate engagement, for the third year in a row. Last year’s donation has contributed to Hire Heroes USA’s successful efforts in 2015, including providing services to 1,115 (25/week) transition workshop participants, creating 5,829 (132/week) final resumes, working with 6,717 (152/week) new clients, conducting 45,521 (1,034/week) career counseling sessions and confirming 2,847 veterans hired.

“Hire Heroes USA couldn’t fulfill our mission if it weren’t for loyal, generous donors like the Continuum Veterans Foundation,” said Nathan Smith, Chief Operating Officer at Hire Heroes USA. “As we grow to better meet the demand of transitioning military members, veterans and their spouses, Continuum has increased their support of Hire Heroes USA beyond a financial donation to include increasing awareness among their partners and challenging them to help transform military service into civilian success, from hiring veterans and spouses, to donating and fundraising on our behalf. We look forward to an ever growing collaboration with Continuum and thank all those who support the Continuum Veterans Foundation.”

With a percentage of revenue from its Help Desk going to the Continuum Veterans Foundation, Continuum is the sole donor to the Foundation. Continuum also calls on other businesses to help in their efforts. IT industry marketing and sales expert, Robin Robins, donated 10 percent of the sales of her popular toolkit during Continuum’s user conference, Navigate 2015, held Sunday, September 27 through Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at The Cosmopolitan™ of Las Vegas. Continuum also encourages its managed services provider (MSP) partners to utilize Hire Heroes USA to fill vacant IT job openings.

HTG Peer Groups and Continuum teamed up to host a silent auction at HTG Q4 Meeting, taking place on Tuesday, November 10 – Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in Orlando, Florida, raising $14,115 for Hire Heroes USA on behalf of the Continuum Veterans Foundation. The company’s Pittsburgh area office in Cranberry, Pennsylvania is again supporting the Yellow Ribbon Girls project, helping to purchase, wrap and fill boxes for veterans overseas this November.

“I am proud of all of the efforts of Continuum employees around the world who support the Continuum Veterans Foundation and all veterans who have served this country,” said Michael George, CEO at Continuum. “Through the success and rapid growth of Continuum, we are delighted to be able to continue our support of Hire Heroes USA again this Veterans Day, as they are doing tremendous work to help veterans secure civilian work after their military duties are complete.
