Continuum Veterans Foundation Encourages Continuum Partners to Support Hire Heroes USA to Fill Vacant IT Jobs as well as with Financial Donations

BOSTON – May 27, 2016Continuum Veterans Foundation, helping returning troops find jobs in the IT industry, is calling on the partners of Continuum®, the only channel-exclusive IT management platform company, to honor veterans this Memorial Day through donations to Hire Heroes USA, a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing individualized career coaching services to help veterans transform their military service into civilian success. In the last 6 months, HTG Peer Groups, IT industry marketing and sales expert, Robin Robins and CompTIA have all donated to Hire Heroes on behalf of the Continuum Veterans Foundation. Continuum also encourages its MSP partners to utilize Hire Heroes USA to fill vacant IT job openings.

“Hire Heroes USA is on pace to help a record number of veterans in 2016, and we are delighted to support their efforts throughout the year,” said Michael George, Chairman of the board of directors at Continuum Veterans Foundation and CEO at Continuum. “This Memorial Day as we remember and honor all veterans past and present, we are looking for more partners to join us in helping veterans to find jobs in IT. With many openings across the U.S., veterans tend to be particularly well-suited for these jobs as many have had technology training and come with unmatched commitment, adaptability and loyalty traits of the military.”

Robin Robins donated 10 percent of the sales of her popular toolkit during Continuum’s user conference, Navigate 2015, held in September 2015 in Las Vegas. In November 2015, HTG Peer Groups and Continuum teamed up to host a silent auction at HTG Q4 Meeting in Orlando, Florida, raising $14,115 for Hire Heroes USA on behalf of the Continuum Veterans Foundation. Hire Heroes USA also received a $5,000 donation from CompTIA’s member community, Future Leaders, in November 2015.

Donating over $150,000 since 2013 to Hire Heroes USA, the Continuum Veterans Foundation helped Hire Heroes USA confirm employment for 1,968 veterans in 2014, 3,561 veterans in 2015 and is tracking to help a record number of veterans in 2016.

Continuum is the sole donor to the Continuum Veterans Foundation, providing a percentage of corporate profits as the funding source.
