Online Learning Center Focused on MSP Education for Continuum Partners Achieves Major Milestone, Issuing 5,000 Specialty Certifications in Various Disciplines

BOSTON – September 12, 2017 Continuum University, the self-paced, interactive online learning center for managed services providers, has issued 5,000 specialty certifications in administration, remote monitoring and management (RMM), Help Desk, backup solutions and selling managed IT services to Continuum partners. Continuum University is the training and education service offered by Continuum®, exclusive provider of the only vertically integrated IT service delivery platform that enables MSPs to scale rapidly and profitably.

Continuum University is designed specifically to help Continuum partners and their technicians maximize the value they receive from Continuum’s platform and excel in the industry. Continuum University’s no-cost IT certification program includes training courses in Continuum’s RMM platform that offers proactive problem resolution backed by the company’s industry-leading Network Operations Center (NOC) and Help Desk, as well as Continuity247™, the company’s fully managed backup and disaster recovery (BDR) platform. In addition to product-focused courses, Continuum University also features a selling managed IT services course, which teaches MSPs how to optimize their sales process, unleash their sales potential and grow their pipeline.

To become certified, technicians are required to complete three simple steps, including watching video modules, completing guided reviews, and passing a specialist exam. Continuum University courses are kept up-to-date to reflect the latest Continuum product updates and the bite-size videos easily fit into MSPs’ busy schedules. The self-paced learning environment includes more than 100 modules of instructional video and allows MSP partners to track their company’s progress as well as the progress of individual technicians.

“Partner success is at the core of everything we do,” said Wayne Berkowitz, VP of Partner Success at Continuum. “Continuum is committed to providing MSPs with critical resources that will help them to be successful, and Continuum University is a prime example of this. Providing our partners with the opportunity to earn specialist certifications and gain in-depth knowledge of Continuum’s products is essential to their success. The 5,000 certifications we’ve issued to date serves as a real testament to the value our partners get from Continuum University.”

With training courses covering Continuum’s platform, products, and functionalities, Continuum University is one of the many valuable resources available to the company’s MSP partners. In addition to Continuum University, Continuum’s MSPs have access to sales and marketing toolkits, white-labeled content, live-technical trainings and Navigate, the company’s annual user conference. The ability to leverage these resources, in conjunction with Continuum’s robust IT management platform, empowers the company’s MSP partners to drive greater profitability. This approach was recently validated by an analysis from Service Leadership, Inc., which compared data from a random sample of Continuum’s partners in the Service Leadership Index® (S-L Index) to those in the S-L Index who do not use Continuum. The analysis showed that, of the MSPs in the top quartile of the S-L Index, Continuum partners achieved gross margins on managed services that were on average 8 percentage points higher than their non-Continuum peers. And, among all MSPs in the S-L Index, Continuum partners recorded Adjusted EBITDA figures that were on average 7 percentage points higher than their peers using other platforms. These findings illustrate the advantage of Continuum’s business model and the company’s extensive resources as MSPs strive to grow their business and increase profitability.
