Sudhakar Dongre Joins Continuum Managed IT Services as Assistant Vice President, Infrastructure and IT Operations
BOSTON – Oct. 29, 2014 – Continuum®, the industry's only channel-exclusive provider of fully integrated managed IT services solutions, has named Sudhakar Dongre as Assistant Vice President, Infrastructure and IT Operations in Mumbai, India, reporting to Hunter Smith, recently appointed as new Chief Information Officer (CIO). The company is taking its IT operations to the next level of performance as they continue rapid growth and expansion of its managed IT services offering.
Most recently, Sudhakar Dongre served as a Regional Delivery Manager as well as Program Manager for IBM where he managed complex projects and ongoing service delivery operations for the Business Continuity and Resiliency Services. Prior to serving IBM for nine years, Sudhakar held positions at Euronet Services as Head of Infrastructure and Operations; Diebold as Manager of Infrastructure; NCR Corporation as a Remote Enterprise Management Supervisor, among others. Sudhakar has a master’s degree in business administration in systems and marketing from Sikkim Manipal University.
In August, Continuum announced expanding its engineering office in Mumbai, increasing its workforce to 120 engineers since January, with 30 more engineering hires planned, bringing the total team in India to 680 people. Continuum recently signed a lease for an additional 19,000 square feet of office space and now occupies 46,000 square feet in the Times Square building. The office houses the company’s engineering team along with the industry–leading 24x7x365 network operations center (NOC), monitoring over half a million servers, desktops and mobile devices for the SMB clients of more than 3,500 of its Managed Services Provider (MSP) partners.
