Pittsburgh Technology Council to Name Winners on November 3, 2016

PITTSBURGH, PA and CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA – Aug. 16, 2016Continuum®, the only channel-exclusive IT management platform company, has been named a finalist in Pittsburgh Technology Council’s Tech 50 Awards honoring southwestern Pennsylvania’s most successful and innovative technology companies. Since 1997, the Pittsburgh Technology Council’s annual Tech 50 Awards recognize southwestern Pennsylvania’s most successful, innovative, and thought-leading technology companies, which have become the backbone of Pittsburgh’s new economy. The awards represent transformative technology centers of excellence with tech companies at all stages of growth.

Continuum’s Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania office is home to the company’s Help Desk, the U.S.-based technology service center that provides direct end-user support for a variety of desktop-related issues for more than 55,000 users of the small and medium sized business clients of the company’s Managed Services Provider (MSP) partners.

In its 20th year, the Tech 50 Awards will be celebrated on November 3, 2016 at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh. The event is an opportunity to connect with leaders in health IT, life sciences, manufacturing, consumer products, consulting services and other innovative technologies. This is Pittsburgh’s night dedicated to its fast-growing, tech-innovation sector.

Also based in Cranberry Township is Continuum University, the company’s self-paced, interactive online learning center. Continuum University has issued more than 1,500 specialty certifications in various disciplines, including Administration, Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), Help Desk and Backup Solutions. There are more than 6,700 students participating in Continuum U’s training to-date.

 In 2015, Continuum was awarded a Top Workplaces honor by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Nearly a year ago, the company doubled the size of the office that opened in 2011 with 30 employees.
