WHAT:          Nicholas Bruno of Continuum Managed Services Speaking on Panel, "Managing Security Incidents: Making Sense through All the Noise," at CSO's Perspective
Seminar, "Defending Against the Pervasive Attacker"

WHEN:          Tuesday, September 16, 2014, 2:15 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. EDT

WHERE:       Sheraton Framingham Hotel, 1657 Worcester Road, Framingham, Massachusetts

Nick Bruno joins Quinn Shamblin, Executive Director & Information Security Officer at Boston University, Joan Goodchild, Editor, CSO and Nick Akerman, Partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP to discuss best strategies for making sense through all the cyber security noise. Security and technology teams need to see what’s happening to their enterprises in real-time. As enterprises have introduced more defensive and monitoring technologies to their infrastructure, making sense out of all the resulting data is difficult – but no longer a luxury, it's a necessity. Technologies like Security Event and Incident Management (SEIM) can be critical to making quick sense of data while attacks are still under way.

Nick is a frequent guest blogger for Continuum, discussing the latest in security, to help the company’s Managed Services Provider (MSP) partners prepare their SMB clients for today’s security challenges. Prior to Continuum, Nick held various security management roles including IT Security Officer at Pegasystems, Head of Information Security and Risk Management for EMD Millipore, the Chemicals Division of Merck KGaA and MIS Security Officer at Millipore Corporation. He possesses more than 13 years of experience and holds numerous certifications such as Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO), CISSP-ISSAP and CISM.
